Ille & Vilaine Tourisme
Ille & Vilaine Tourisme has the mission to reveal the multiple emotions by building a better tourism to make it accessible to all.
To do this, it implements the "tourism" policy of the Department of Ille-et-Vilaine, and contributes to the development and dynamism of tourism in Ille-et-Vilaine. Association loi 1901 which brings together public authorities and tourism stakeholders, the Agency has an annual budget of 1.6M€, and employs 17 people on a permanent basis.
It has made sustainable tourism its core priority, which it intends to deploy both towards its ecosystem of partners and internally.
The strategy of the Agency is defined by a multi-year roadmap broken down into a portfolio of collaborative projects. Its service offer focuses on four ambitions (observing the tourism market, supporting partners' projects, networking the ecosystem and promoting the territory and the activity of the structure), broken down into four themes (tourism for all, soft travel, heritage, nautical).
To implement its action, the team is organized into a general management and two poles: the advice and support pole and the communication and observation pole. The present position is responsible for coordinating the latter and constitutes a member of the management committee.
The strategic orientation dedicated to the field of the position
The Ille & Vilaine Tourisme Agency has developed an innovative marketing positioning during a collective process, led from 2019 to 2022. With a new identity, investing in target partners and local audiences, it deploys corporate and local communication on priority themes (sustainable tourism, tourism for all, soft travel, heritage, nautical).
Guarantor of the service offer thus broken down into communication and observation of the Agency, the pole fully articulates its activity in correlation with that of the advice and support pole of projects, which supports the actors of the territory in the development of their own offer in this field. It is thus the internal interlocutor, of the thematic mission managers and, externally, of the local partners' correspondents in terms of communication, tourist information system and observation.
Composed of mission managers mobilized on professional expertise, the pole aims to:
· Promote the service offer of Ille & Vilaine Tourisme to its members and partners and within the team,
· Support the territories, the heads of network and the private actors in their public communication, in a collective logic and within the framework of its service offer,
· Show the touristicity of Ille-et-Vilaine to the local public,
· Animate at the departmental level the tourist information system in force (Tourinsoft),
· Exercise the function of departmental tourist observatory,
· Network the actors of the territory around the functions entrusted to it.
MissionThe position and its missions:
Under the authority of the Director General of Services, in full coordination with the head of the advice and support pole of projects and in contact with the different collaborators of the Agency, the head of the communication and observation pole ensures the management and animation of a team of 7 collaborators corresponding to 6.5 full-time equivalents, including 1 apprentice. He/she is specifically in charge of the following missions:
In the context of the operational areas entrusted to the pole:
– Help to decision-making, implement, evaluate and adapt the action,
– Manage the human resources assigned,
– Draw up and implement the annual action plans and budgets relevant to the pole,
– Be guarantor of the internal processes and external contractual ones on the field of action of the pole,
– Manage the resources of other natures assigned (budgetary, logistical, digital...),
– Contribute to the external access to the services of the Agency.
In the context of the animation of the dedicated team:
– Coordinate the collective action of the pole and animate its cross-cutting life,
– Animate by objectives the mission managers of the pole and ensure the managerial support with them, in the implementation by them of the orientations,
