The Executive Director of Dining and Retail will oversee all dining and retail operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and strong financial performance. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring management teams, developing and implementing service standards, and optimizing product offerings and pricing for food, beverage, and retail outlets. The role will manage budgets, analyze sales and performance metrics, and drive revenue growth while maintaining cost controls and quality standards.

This position will also collaborate with marketing and senior leadership to design promotions, enhance brand presence, and support long-term strategic initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham, Alabama.

• Leadership and operations:
  Demonstrated experience leading dining, food & beverage, and retail operations in a hospitality setting, including team development and performance management.
• Financial and analytical skills:
  Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial reports, track KPIs, and align operational decisions with profitability and revenue goals.
• Guest experience and service:
  Strong focus on service standards, guest satisfaction, and quality assurance across dining and retail environments.
• Strategic and commercial mindset:
  Experience with menu and merchandise planning, pricing strategies, promotions, and collaboration with marketing and senior leadership.
• Communication and collaboration:
  Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Education and experience:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred; significant progressive leadership experience in dining and retail operations required.
• Additional qualifications:
  
  Proven track record of implementing operational improvements, familiarity with POS and inventory systems, and commitment to inclusive, equitable workplace practices.
