WhatYou'll Do
- Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies to improve Rolling Mill equipment performance
- Work closely with Rolling Mill operations and maintenance teams to ensure alignment on reliability goals
- Develop and refine standard operating procedures for equipment maintenance and reliability programs
- Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and compliance with environmental and operational standards
- Apply continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Coordinate Mill Services reliability & efficiency efforts in the Roll and Guide Shop
- Monitor and improve equipment uptime, availability, and reliability metrics
- Work with personnel in the operation, monitoring, and performance of all rolling mill equipment
- Procure supplies and spare parts to ensure effective and timely maintenance of equipment
- Coordinate down day and outage activities to include leading meeting and execution in the field
- Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
- Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy industrial maintenance, preferably in a steel manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of reliability principles, including RCM, PdM, and CMMS systems
- Critical thinking, strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in environments with exposure to temperature extremes, chemicals, dust, fumes, mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces
- Strong communication skills are required. Must read, speak, and understand English language in verbal and written communication
- Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point, and Microsoft Project
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering OR equivalent experience in a Maintenance/Reliability role
