A CNC Assistant (or Operator Assistant)
supports manufacturing operations by loading/unloading parts, running production lots, performing basic machine maintenance, and conducting quality inspections using tools like calipers. They work under senior operators, reading blueprints to ensure accuracy, adhering to safety protocols, and keeping machinery clean.
Key Responsibilities- Machine Operation: Load/unload parts into CNC mills or lathes and cycle machines, ensuring production runs are completed.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintenance & Setup: Perform routine maintenance (checking coolant/oil levels) and assist with setting up tools and fixtures.
- Safety & Organization: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by following all company safety protocols.
You will be working a 4/3 12 hour schedule
Hours:
5:00pm - 5:50 am
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
