Stone Fabricator

Summary

Position works within fabrication, inventory, and material handling areas of the department.

• Will work on fabrication of stone, quartz or solid surface materials, depending upon business requirements.
• Responsible for sanding solid surface pieces with electric and air polishing tools as assigned.
• Loading and unloading of granite, marble, solid surfaces and quartz slabs with the use of forklifts and forklift attachments – adequate training will be provided.
• Ensure the proper maintenance of production equipment on a regular basis; filters, dust collectors, oiling of machinery, or other types of devices as assigned.
• Maintain a well‑organized, clean and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management in support of initiatives.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior stone or solid surfaces fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to multi‑task and work within specified time frames.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, self‑directed environment.
• Current Fork Lift Certification required.
• Ability to problem‑solve.
