• Able to predict effect of defect after paint

Some of the physical demands for this position include being able to lift up to a weight of 40 pounds and the ability to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods of time.

Some of the equipment and tools used are a computer, printer, telephone, photocopier, fax machine, PPE and an assortment of metrology tools.

• High School Diploma or GED required; minimum of 1 year as QA‑Auditor, with proven track record in cosmetic, functional testing and dimensional inspections.

GD&T, Weld Standards, Manufacturing Practices, SPC

• Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of precision measuring tools including tape measures, scales, Vernier calipers, etc.
• Metal Finish experience a plus.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Express.
• PDCA/8D/5 why knowledge a plus.

Quality auditing experience in the automotive manufacturing environment

Minimum of 5 years

• Quality Training
• TS16949 Internal Auditor experience
• Six Sigma
• Emergency Response Training
