Pay Rate: $30.35 per hour

Royal Cup Coffee is seeking entry‑level and experienced maintenance technicians to support equipment in a highly automated coffee roasting and packaging facility. The role involves mechanical and electrical maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with the maintenance lead and supervisor to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

• Perform minor repairs on production machinery and building systems.
• Clean roaster piping before Automatic Clean Out.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on air handling filters and cooling coils.
• Use basic shop equipment and hand tools, including electric tools.
• Read schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Maintain records and enter work orders in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Communicate effectively with Maintenance Lead Technician and Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain sanitation and housekeeping at expected levels.
• Participate in company‑mandated safety programs to support a zero‑accident goal.
• Manage activities to meet cost objectives.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Attend all required company meetings.
• Continuously learn new skills and technologies.
• Adhere to GMP, quality, and food‑safety requirements.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and operational procedures.
• Understanding of LOTO and NFPA 70E regulations.
• Understanding of environmental, health, safety, and food‑safety regulations.
• Analytical approach to problem solving.
• Willingness to grow into greater responsibility.
• Ability to pass a skill‑level pre‑employment assessment for a maintenance trainee position.
• Ability to work with and support others positively.
• Completion of the pre‑employment process.

• Experience with packaging and roasting machinery in a high‑volume, fast‑paced production facility.
• Prior experience with a CMMS.
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, balancing, and reaching with hands and arms.
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Occasional lifting of 25, 50, and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Close, distance, depth vision, and ability to adjust focus.

• Working near production machinery and occasionally near hand jacks or forklifts.
