Flexographic Printing Operator
McCalla, AL
A Flexographic Printing Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses used to print labels, packaging materials, and other printed products. This role ensures that all printed materials meet quality standards, production goals, and customer specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Set up and operate flexographic printing machines according to job orders
- Load printing plates, inks, and materials onto the press
- Monitor print quality and make adjustments to maintain color accuracy and alignment
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment
- Inspect finished products for defects such as smudging, misalignment, or color inconsistencies
- Follow production schedules to meet deadlines and output goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all safety guidelines
- Record production data and report any equipment issues to supervisors
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in printing, manufacturing, or machine operation preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot industrial printing equipment
- Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Understanding of safety procedures and PPE requirements
