Production Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Inventory Control including verification of inventory amounts for mass production, service and new model, in accordance with customer/production demand and supplier/internal capacity (includes but not limited to: raw material, component, product, supplies, power equipment, packaging)
• Obtain, organize and analyze data from multiple sources to provide forecast to the plant for resource planning
• Develop and maintain relationship with customers, and monitor and react to demand changes
• Develop and maintain relationship with suppliers, and monitor and control supplier activities
• Develop and maintain relationship with the team, closely coordinating with appropriate personnel
• Coordinate and process engineering change instruction (ECI), and associated ramp up / build out activities
• Identify opportunities to reduce overall cost and manhour needed within the department and implement
• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy of output from the department and implement
• Perform all duties in conformance with appropriate safety, security and quality standards
• All other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by Management

• Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Two years of prior applicable experience in Production Control preferred
• Automotive experience preferred
