Position: Machine Operator I - Flexo Slitter/Rewind - 2nd Shift

We are seeking a Flexo Slitter/Rewind Operator for 2nd shift. This position is full‑time and includes full company benefits. The role is based in a clean, climate‑controlled manufacturing facility.

SUMMARY

The Slitter‑Rewind Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a slitter/rewinder. Production requirements include producing products that meet our quality standards using inspection systems and/or quality processes. The candidate must maintain quality production, inspection, and packaging of products.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate slitter/rewind and inspection/finishing equipment safely and efficiently producing quality product.
  • Inspect products produced to job specifications and quality standards.
  • Receive production order and job assignments from the supervisor/lead.
  • Obtain required materials for the job.
  • Complete production records as required by company guidelines.
  • Ensure proper cleanliness of work area.
  • Read, review and understand job tickets and proofs.
  • Maintain a positive and professional behavior/attitude.
  • Respond to company personnel in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Follow administrative procedures established for inter/intradepartmental interaction.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
    • REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment or related experience.
  • Proficient computer skills required.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Works well with hands, with good fine‑motor skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Work independently with little supervision.
  • Multi‑task – ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Actively seeks and identifies opportunities to contribute.
