Forklift Operator II is a forklift operator who is cross trained across all functional areas and duty assignments routine to daily lift truck operations at the manufacturing facility.

• Staging orders – can accurately complete the order selection process and stage orders in appropriate areas for loading by loaders. Orders are completed following proper procedures, which include use of the RF System, proper documentation, and selecting products and lots as instructed.
• Loading trucks – can accurately load customer orders onto trucks for dispatch or the drop lot following proper loading procedures. Procedures include safety protocol, equipment inspections, order review for complete shipments, RF system, and document processes.
• Receiving – knowledgeable and capable of receiving packaging, ingredients, and finished goods and handling proper storage, rotation, quality assurance, computer entry, and documentation processes required for accurate and timely receiving of goods.
• Production Support – knowledgeable and capable of finished‑goods production support of the manufacturing process. Takes finished goods from the end of the production lines and puts product into warehouse locations with take‑away and put‑away procedures, including proper scanning for production reconciliation and product temperature requirements.
• Troubleshooting – must be capable, knowledgeable, and willing to competently troubleshoot inventory issues, place defective materials on pending hold, and make location adjustments properly to resolve NIL (not in location), zero balance, and damaged items found during routine tasks.
• Warehouse Safety knowledge – must possess and exhibit a full and complete understanding of safety‑sensitive operations such as battery changing, battery watering, pallet exchanging, shrink‑wrapping, allergen compliance, issue reporting, vehicle inspections, and damaged‑goods processes.
• Production Support – Deck Supply – Knowledge and capable of supporting the manufacturing decks by issuing ingredients to the decks and returning them properly to the warehouse as needed, while following proper tote storage processes.
• FSMA compliance – adherence to applicable food safety management standards.

• High School graduate and the experience required to execute the major responsibilities listed above.

• At least one year of stand‑up forklift experience and the ability to pass the annual required forklift certification process.
• Good math skills and the ability to operate an RF computer, desktop computer, and calculator.
• The ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively.
• Safety knowledge requisite to the duties and responsibilities listed above, including the ability to recognize and communicate issues.
