Kitchen Production Manager
Full‑time position located in Lacey's Spring, Alabama. Responsibilities include leading tea blending and manufacturing operations to meet quality standards.
Responsibilities- Blend tea according to proprietary recipes while maintaining confidentiality.
- Conduct sensory quality control checks on raw ingredients and finished blends.
- Monitor ingredient usage to reduce waste and maximize yield.
- Operate production machinery, perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance, and coordinate repairs.
- Train, schedule, and supervise production staff; develop structured training programs.
- Maintain inventory levels of raw botanicals, teas, and packaging materials; conduct physical audits.
- Forecast production needs and communicate supply shortages to procurement team.
- Collaborate with production, farm, fulfillment, sales, and leadership teams on scheduling and operational alignment.
- Provide regular performance metrics and operational insights to leadership; present improvement ideas.
- 1–3 years of experience in food or beverage production, brewery, or agriculture.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot industrial packaging equipment.
- Strong organizational skills with a process‑obsessive mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

- Proficiency with computer systems and inventory management tools.
- Must obtain Serv Safe Manager certification.
Work requires standing and walking for long periods on hard floors. Must lift loads up to 60 lbs, ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and ramps. Frequent repetitive wrist and upper‑extremity motions; requires excellent hand‑eye coordination. Must recognize sensory differences in flavors and odors; work in environments with airborne botanical particulates; handle hot equipment and chemicals.
Availability RequirementsStandard 30–40 hour work week with weekday schedule and flexibility for morning and afternoon shifts. Ability to adjust to seasonal harvest and order needs. Attendance at team meetings and training sessions required.
