Snelling is currently recruiting for an experienced Lead Man – Lathe Machinist to join a well-established manufacturing company in Birmingham. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong machining experience and the ability to oversee daily production activities while operating large industrial lathes.
Schedule:
6:30am-2:30pm, with overtime as needed
Starting pay: $30.00/hr, depending on experience
Responsibilities for Lead Man – Lathe Machinist:- Lead and coordinate daily activities of machining personnel on the shop floor.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Dainichi CNC lathes and LeBlond manual lathes.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Ensure parts are manufactured to required specifications and tolerances.…
