PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Primarily responsible for removing debris from the floor and keeps the floor hosed down/clean. Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment, and work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean work area around their assigned line.
- Wash floor and line during breaks.
- Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers.
- Do all tasks assigned by members of management.
- Must be able to follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
- Must be able to perform additional duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSPoultry experience preferred but not required
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to safety requirements.
- Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). PPE required but subject to change:
Hairnet, beard net, shoe covers, smock, earplugs.
- Ability to work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC).
- Ability to stand for an 8 hour shift.
- Will be exposed to noise (>85 decibels) and moving production.
