The University of Alabama at Birmingham is seeking a Central Plant Operator to maintain, operate, test and monitor reciprocating and centrifugal chillers and related equipment located in the Central Plants and other campus facilities.
You will perform maintenance and monitor performance, adjust water treatment, calibrate instrumentation and operate monitoring systems with a rotation of shifts onsite to ensure reliable cooling across campus.
