At Evans Meats and Seafood, Inc. we provide quality meats, seafood and specialty products to a diverse range of food service and retail customers. The company focuses on reliable service, consistent product quality, and strong relationships with clients and vendors.

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual as our Digital Media Coordinator. This is a hybrid part-time position and will support execution of marketing initiatives of Evans Meats and Seafood, The Son of a Butcher, and affiliated brands. The position will support the Marketing Director by contributing fresh and innovative design ideas that align with our brand identity. This position offers hands-on experience in creating visual content for various digital and print media, including social media graphics, marketing materials, and internal communications.

The Digital Media Coordinator position is devised to develop technical skills and understanding of design principles while providing exposure to real-world marketing workflows and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director on content creation, graphic design ideas, copywriting, editing, photography, and videography.
  • Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.
  • Assist with maintenance of digital asset libraries.
  • Support monitoring of social media engagement, customer service inquiries, and subscriber lists.
  • Work with internal teams, customers, producers, and community partners by supporting sponsor ships, promotions, and outreach initiatives.
  • Assist with planning, logistics, promotion, execution, and follow-up for events, producer visits, and community activities.
  • Ensure brand standards are maintained across all marketing materials.
  • Assist with merchandising initiatives and promotional advertising.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Available to work 15-20 hours per week, with potential for full-time employment.
  • Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field (or currently enrolled).
  • Some experience with social media, email marketing platforms, and content scheduling tools.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Independent, self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
  • Photography or videography experience.
  • Basic graphic design skills.
Success in this Role
  • Maintains accuracy and consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Helps execute campaigns efficiently across multiple brands.
  • Available to meet with the Marketing Director remotely on a weekly basis, and onsite regularly.
