Nurse Practitioner – Cardiology
Location: 3980 Colonnade Parkway, Birmingham, AL 35243
Schedule: Full‑Time, 40 hours/week
Setting: Hybrid – Hospital + Office

ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, diagnostic evaluations, and health histories.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Manage patient care across both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring continuity and quality.
- Provide patient and family education to support understanding and long‑term wellness.
- Document assessments, care plans, and follow‑up recommendations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in daily hospital rounds and support ongoing cardiac care initiatives.
- Serve as a clinical resource for staff and contribute to a positive team culture.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: MN, MSN, DNP, PhD, or DNS in Nursing.
- Licensure: Active ARNP license (state of Alabama); national board certification required per state regulations.
- Experience:
- 2 years cardiology experience preferred
- Will consider strong candidates with 1+ years of NP experience
- Training/Expertise: Background in Cardiology required.
- Personal Qualities: Compassionate, adaptable, strong communicator, and committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
