Travel RN - Telemetry - Stepdown

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down unit night shift position in Birmingham, AL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an AL or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Step Down unit in a hospital setting in Birmingham, AL,

• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM,

• Patient ratio of 1:4,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date,

• Minimum 2 years of recent Step Down experience required,

• Candidates must have a permanent address 50+ miles from the facility to be eligible,

• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months,

• Valid driver's license required for consideration,

• US Social Security Number required,

Additional Information

• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position,

• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration,

• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 2 years of Step Down experience is required
