SummaryThe Clinic Coordinator – Specialty Care Services is a registered nurse who provides day-to-day operational leadership for one or more ambulatory specialty clinics within Children’s of Alabama. This role coordinates patient care activities, supports providers and staff, and ensures safe, efficient, family-centered services in alignment with Children’s policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The Clinic Coordinator collaborates closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing leadership, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient flow, staff performance, and the overall patient and family experience.
Credentialswith Equivalent Qualifications
Essential:
- Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
- Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
- Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
- Basic Life Support
Essential:
- Masters of Science Nursing in Nursing or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
- Bachelor of Science Nursing in Nursing and 4 Years job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Nursing Experience RN
- Associate of Science Nursing in Nursing and 7 Years job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Nursing Experience RN
Full-time on the Day Shift, Monday-Friday from 8:00a to 4:30p.
