Job Description

The School of Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham invites applications for a full‑time faculty position teaching in the Family Nurse Practitioner Track in the Graduate Clinical Programs.

Candidates must have experience as an advanced practice Family Nurse Practitioner.

A minimum of a doctorate degree in nursing or a related field is required.

Applicants must hold an unencumbered registered nurse license in the state of Alabama or be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Alabama.

Faculty may elect different degrees of emphasis on teaching, service, and scholarship. The role will be focused on graduate clinical programs. This position is not remote.

Certification as a family nurse practitioner and prior teaching experience is preferred.
