Job Description

Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. You will report to the Center Manager and oversee the general management of employees assigned to the production areas.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee employee performance and scheduling.
  • Lead Inventory Control efforts and drive operational initiatives.
  • Work with donors to resolve concerns.
  • Analyze opportunities related to non-conforming events.
  • Perform tasks for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas.
  • Foster teamwork, communicate, and resolve conflicts.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
  • Frequent bending and reaching.
  • Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 lbs and occasional lifting to 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance.
  • Ability to perform prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to blood borne pathogens.

Compensation

Location: USA - AL - Birmingham

Hourly Wage Range: $22.80 - $31.35

The hourly wage reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual wage offered may depend on the qualifications of the candidate, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.

U.S. employees may be eligible for short-term incentives, medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, well-being benefits, up to 80 hours of sick time per year, and new hires accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
