This role requires versatile Registered Nurses who are dedicated to maintaining high standards for patient safety and outcomes, while adapting to a fast-paced hospital environment.
Schedule and Location- Afternoon/Evening PM shift needed
- 8 hours of paid orientation provided
- Next orientation begins in June
- Valid, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of one year experience in adult Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing
- Demonstrated proficiency with telemetry monitoring, including identification of dysrhythmias
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
Excellent clinical assessment skills
- Strong communication abilities and focus on patient-centered care
- Adaptable to changing patient acuity and unit needs
- Deliver direct nursing care to a diverse patient population requiring medical-surgical and telemetry interventions
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and promptly recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to implement individualized care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and thoroughly using electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and post-discharge instructions
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, infection control measures, and safety regulations
