Northgate Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an organized, dependable, and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Full-Time Staffing Scheduler. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional care by maintaining appropriate staffing levels and supporting the daily operations of our nursing department.

Benefits eligibility is based on employment status and company plan guidelines.

• Develop and maintain nursing schedules for all shifts.
• Coordinate staffing to ensure adequate coverage based on resident census and acuity.
• Manage daily call-ins and secure replacement staff as needed.
• Work closely with the Director of Nursing and nursing leadership to address staffing needs.
• Monitor staffing patterns to support regulatory compliance and quality resident care.
• Process schedule changes, time-off requests, and shift swaps.
• Maintain accurate staffing records and scheduling reports.
• Communicate schedules and staffing updates to nursing staff in a timely manner.
• Assist with onboarding schedules for new employees.
• Support the nursing department with additional administrative responsibilities as assigned.

• Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing required.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting required.
• Prior staffing, scheduling, or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of staffing regulations and long-term care operations.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with scheduling software, electronic medical records, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
