Position Overview: Provides direct nursing care within Surgical Services, including OR pre-operative holding and block, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans according to organizational policies and protocols.
- Assess, record, and communicate patient conditions effectively.
- Serve as the primary coordinator among multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning with healthcare team members.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire, accepted via American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school required.
