Position Overview:
Provides direct nursing care in a hospital setting, following established policies and protocols. Coordinates patient care, monitors and records patient conditions, and communicates effectively with healthcare team members.
Responsibilities:Implements and assesses patient care plans, serves as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary care, executes physician and nursing orders, and manages discharge planning needs.
Qualifications:Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing, a diploma from an accredited nursing program, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Prior licensure is necessary.
Skills and Attributes:Strong clinical assessment, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to shift schedules, including nights and weekends.
