MedPlexMD Injury is a physician-led personal injury practice in Birmingham, AL. We provide coordinated medical care for patients recovering from acute and subacute musculoskeletal injuries — combining thorough clinical evaluation, integrated physical therapy, and structured care pathways that keep patients moving forward.

We're hiring a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing clinical team and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

This is a full-time, on-site clinical provider position. You'll evaluate and manage personal injury patients from intake through recovery, working alongside physicians, physical therapists, and care coordinators. It's a strong fit for an NP who values clear documentation, structured workflows, and direct patient communication in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Perform initial and follow-up evaluations for personal injury patients
• Obtain and document comprehensive histories and physical examinations
• Assess musculoskeletal and injury-related conditions
• Review diagnostic imaging and integrate findings into clinical decision-making
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Prescribe medications, bracing, and ancillary services as clinically appropriate
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Provide patient education and counseling
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EHR
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, HIPAA, and regulatory standards

• Active Alabama license as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent)
• Current national certification (AANP or ANCC)
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
• Comfort working efficiently in a structured, high-volume clinical setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented mindset and a commitment to high-quality patient care
• Experience in orthopedics, pain management, urgent care, emergency medicine, or personal injury is a plus — but not required
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
