American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Oncology position requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and NIHSS certification.

• ,7M Oncology unit within a hospital setting
• 18-bed unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Patient population includes oncology, palliative, post-op bariatric, and Med/Surg overflow cases
• Uses computer, IV pump, vital sign machine, and other basic medical equipment
• EMR system used is Epic
• AM shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Floating required as needed

• Active RN license (AL or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS (AHA)
• 2+ years of Med/Surg experience required
• Acute care experience preferred

• Provide compassionate, patient-oriented care to a diverse oncology and Med/Surg patient population
• Navy scrubs required; only scrubs and scrub jackets permitted as attire
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
