Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Evening Shift, Varies.
Summary:
Coordinates the intake and placement of all admissions and intra-unit transfers in accordance with the Children's of Alabama House Coordinator Guidelines and Admission Policy. Collaborates with physician and nursing staff to prioritize admissions and intra-unit transfers based on medical needs. Communicates and collaborates with all departments as appropriate to maximize efficiency of bed utilization and expedite the throughput process. Serves as a designated leadership representative accountable and responsible for coordinating provision of efficient patient care operations on their assigned shifts.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within strict deadlines.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative setting.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients / families, physicians, hospital staff and all public services related to emergency patient situations.
- Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
- Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
- Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
- Basic Life Support
- Essential:
- High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent
- Associate of Science Nursing in Nursing
- Nonessential:
- Bachelor of Science Nursing in Nursing
Schedule:
Varies, Day-Evening Shift, 12-Hour Shifts
