Unit Manager RN– Long Term Care

Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm (Full-time)

Pine Hill Rehabilitation and Wellness Center a long-term care facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Unit Manager RN. As a Unit Manager RN
, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for providing compassionate care to the elderly population.

Unit Manager RN Key Duties
  • Manage and supervise nursing staff, Including RN’s, LPN’s, and CNA’s, to ensure the delivery of excellent resident care.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Monitor resident health and well-being, and coordinate with healthcare providers to address medical concerns.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and ensure open communication.
  • Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
Unit Manager RN Qualifications
  • Valid RN license in the state of Alabama.

  • CPR certification required.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in long-term care or a related setting.

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
