Position Overview
A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available for select nursing units at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham, UAB St. Vincent's East, and UAB St. Vincent's St. Clair.

By submitting your application, you’ll be considered for nursing positions at all UAB St. Vincent’s facilities. You can indicate your preferred area of interest and facility on your application. During the screening process, we’ll help match you with the area that fits you best.
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the
healthcare organization.
- Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare
team.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required.
