- Provide direct nursing care in a collaborative environment within an 18-bed MICU stepdown unit.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, record and communicate patient conditions, and serve as a primary coordinator for multidisciplinary care.
- Follow physician and nursing orders, and assess discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

- Follow physician and nursing orders, and assess discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
- Current RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Alabama.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program and professional licensure at the time of hire.
- Strong communication, assessment, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, patient-focused setting.
