Job Description:
Join a stimulating Neurosurgery/Neuroscience unit on the 4th Floor at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. This RN role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 715, providing specialized care to neurosurgery patients. You’ll be involved in assisting with postoperative recovery, monitoring neurological status, and ensuring patient safety. The environment offers a chance to develop your expertise in neuro-critical care while enjoying a balanced schedule of every other weekend and a total weekly commitment of 36 hours over a 13-week assignment.
Experience with Cerner EMR, AHA BLS, and NIH certifications is required. If you have at least 2 years of neuro and neurosurgery experience and a positive attitude, this is an opportunity to make a real impact in a reputable hospital setting.
