Travel Med Surg RN
This is a 13-week contract position.
NIGHTS (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) with alternating weekends.
The Travel Med Surg RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical surgical unit. The focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, performing necessary interventions.
- Communicate with families regarding health updates and care plans.
- Document all care provided accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care needs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN license in good standing.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical record preferred.
- Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility.
