Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Neuro/Spine)

Birmingham, Alabama

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 5x8-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | On-Call Required

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a Main OR setting with a focus on Neuro/Spine cases
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 24-bed operating room environment
• Operate and assist with OR equipment and technology, including use of Epic EMR
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the perioperative process
• Adhere to facility dress code standards including navy scrubs and specified attire guidelines
• Respond to on-call requirements as scheduled

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• NIH certification required
• Demonstrated experience in General Surgery and Orthopedics

• Experience with Da Vinci Robotic surgical system
• Experience with Maxillofacial (Max Face) surgical procedures

• Work at a large, accredited comprehensive healthcare facility recognized for excellence across multiple surgical and specialty service lines, including minimally invasive and robotic procedures
