Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Neuro/Spine)

Birmingham, Alabama

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 5x8-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | On-Call Required

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a Main OR setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Support and assist with Neuro/Spine surgical procedures as well as General Surgery and Orthopedic cases
• Operate and manage OR-specific equipment throughout the surgical process
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Respond to on-call requirements as scheduled by the department

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Experience in General Surgery and Orthopedics
• Current BLS certification
• NIH certification required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR

• Experience with Da Vinci Robotic surgical systems
• Experience with Maxillofacial (Max Face) surgical procedures
• Background in Neuro/Spine surgical specialty

• Work in a large, accredited comprehensive healthcare facility offering exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties including neurological, orthopedic, bariatric, and cardiovascular care
