Travel RN – Operating Room (Neuro/Spine)

Birmingham, Alabama

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 5x8-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Call Required

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a Main Operating Room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Support and assist with Neuro/Spine surgical procedures as well as General Surgery and Orthopedic cases
• Accurately document patient care activities and clinical information using Epic EMR
• Adhere to all facility dress code standards and OR-specific protocols
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the unit
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the perioperative process

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• NIH certification required
• Experience with General Surgery and Orthopedic procedures
• Recent hands-on experience with Epic EMR

• Experience with Da Vinci Robotic surgical system
• Experience with Maxillofacial (Max Face) surgical procedures
• Prior travel nursing experience in an OR setting

• Work at a large, accredited comprehensive healthcare facility recognized for excellence across multiple specialties including surgical, neurological, cardiovascular, and orthopedic care
