The role involves providing direct nursing care in the OB Emergency Department, ensuring patient safety and well-being according to organizational policies and protocols.
Key Responsibilities Include- Implementing and monitoring patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions.
- Serving as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Carrying out physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
- Active licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire, with Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 180 days.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
Strong communication, coordination, and assessment skills necessary for effective patient care management.
