Registered Nurse – Post-Anesthesia Care Unit - PACU - Travel - (PACU RN)

12 D Pay Rate: $1990.00 - $2092.00
The PACU RN position in Birmingham, AL gives you the opportunity to provide direct nursing care for patients recovering from anesthesia in the facility’s post-anesthesia care unit. You will monitor patient responses, manage pain, and follow aseptic technique according to national standards. Required qualifications include a current RN license in Alabama, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire, and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification is required within 6 months. Experience in post-anesthesia or critical care nursing is preferred. Recommended skills include proficiency in anesthesia care, pain management, and critical care nursing, as well as strong communication and prioritization abilities.
