The MS/PCU RN position in Birmingham, AL offers you the chance to provide advanced care for patients needing close monitoring and specialized nursing in the facility's medical-surgical and progressive care unit. You will assess, monitor, and manage patients with complex conditions, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and stability. Required qualifications include a current RN license in Alabama, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are typically required. Experience in acute care, telemetry, or medical-surgical settings is highly valued. Recommended skills include strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to adapt to changing patient needs and unit priorities.
