Cahaba Valley Animal Clinic is seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our compassionate, team-oriented animal hospital.

As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you play a vital role in delivering an exceptional veterinary client experience.

• Greet clients and pets with warmth, professionalism, and empathy
• Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations
• Maintain smooth front desk flow in a busy veterinary clinic
• Answer multi-line phones and provide accurate information about services

• Educate pet parents on services and general pet care guidance
• Coordinate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to support patient care
• Handle client questions and concerns with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach

• Process payments and manage client accounts accurately
• Enter and maintain precise client and patient records in our electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Ensure all documentation and transactions are completed efficiently

• 1–2 years of experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or Veterinary CSR
• Experience in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or medical office setting

(If you’re a quick learner with strong customer service skills and a passion for veterinary medicine, we’re open to training the right candidate.)

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
• Calm, professional demeanor in high-volume environments
• Comfortable using scheduling software and medical record systems
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support clinic operations
• Flexible availability (minimum four days per week, including rotating Saturdays)
