Position: Histocompatibility Supervisor - Histocompatibility Lab - Evening Shift - (003)

Position Overview

Pay range: $70,425 - $114,440 / year

Shifts: full-time evening

Job Description

Under the leadership of the clinical manager, to assume responsibilities to ensure daily efficient operations within designated area of responsibility within the laboratory. To rotate supervisor on‑call coverage. As delegated by the director, to lead processes relative to the validation of new instruments and/or methods, reagent quality control information and equipment maintenance/issue resolution. To perform 2nd review and final sign‑off of test results.

To lead training in assigned testing methodology.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical science field and five (5) years histocompatibility testing experience in an ASHI accredited laboratory required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently certified as a Certified Histocompatibility Specialist (CHS) by the American College of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ACHI) required.
