Description
One of TEKsystems' clients, a leader in their respective industry, is looking for a QA Manager. The ideal candidate will join (in a hands‑on work manager capacity) and lead an existing team of 4 QA Analysts and continue to develop their Automation tool and manage the overall QA test organization. The day‑to‑day job duties are below.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement testing strategies and quality assurance problem reporting processes using JIRA.
- Manage all phases of testing, i.e. system integration testing, performance testing, User Acceptance Testing utilizing all testing methodologies including white and black box testing.
- Experience with testing automation tools: configuration, execution and ongoing changes as the IT teams make changes to the above-mentioned applications.
- Analyze reported defects against the functional, non‑functional, technical, system, integration and performance requirements.
- Recommend application improvements to address defects.

QualificationsThis role is onsite 5 days/week; however, if there's a need for flexibility (at times), the client is very agreeable.
Expert Level experience required.
Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, AL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
