Overview

Yulista Contract Services LLC is hiring a Regular Primary Function Aviation Quality Assurance Technical Inspector. The role ensures compliance with Yulista Quality Management System (QMS) processes and procedures, applicable technical data, and industry standards for aircraft, component, and shop inspections.

Essential Duties
  • Utilize data collection techniques and procedures for evaluation, inspection, and audit programs; evaluate results and determine appropriate presentation format to higher‑level management.
  • Perform statistical analysis (normal distribution, averages, means, standard deviations, trending, root‑cause analysis, etc.) using standard statistical quality‑control methods.
  • Use inspection and evaluation techniques, mathematics, and database skills to conduct root‑cause, deficiency, and trend analysis.
  • Recommend Acceptable Quality Levels (AQLs), frequency changes to Routine Inspection Lists (RILs), and corrective‑maintenance actions.
  • Interpret Air Force Instructions, Technical Orders, engineering drawings, product specifications, AFOSH, environmental standards, public law, and local policy.
  • Evaluate complex systems, subsystems, and components for conformance to applicable technical data, engineering drawings, standards, and specifications.
  • Conduct activity inspections and ensure compliance of all maintenance activities, including logistics support functional areas such as production, programs, mobility, training, planning, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Ensure personnel have necessary items to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Review project work requests for completeness and accuracy.
  • Provide accurate weekly/monthly status reports, metrics, and other contractual obligations to meet performance requirements and customer expectations.
  • Evaluate programs involving electrical, electronic, machining, structures, composites, aircraft, and ground‑support systems in development, manufacturing, and testing environments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality practices and procedures per organizational guidelines, SOPs, and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Evaluate special processes such as NDI, welding, testing, and soldering for internal employees and approved subcontractors.
  • Develop changes in methods, sampling techniques, and control procedures to ensure maximum customer quality.
  • Carry out audits and support audit activities.
  • Provide professional interface with customers and/or government personnel.
  • Develop briefings for management and define strategies.
  • Evaluate training criteria to keep the team’s skills current, relevant, and effective.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities. The employee has the authority to carry out assigned tasks.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical principles applicable to aircrew egress systems, maintenance directives, schematic drawings, and technical publications.
  • Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs.
  • Working knowledge of advanced software applications preferred.
  • Proficiency in accurately entering data into databases.
  • Reading and interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Writing routine reports and correspondence.
  • Interpersonal skills to work effectively with all management and staff levels, and to interact with crew members.
  • Effective oral and technical written communication skills.
  • Use of general office equipment (fax, phone, copier, scanner, printers, etc.).
  • Following established processes.
  • Compliance with safety rules and regulations during day‑to‑day maintenance.
  • Prompt reporting of accidents, injuries, safety violations, and unsafe practices.
  • Customer‑service skills, including active listening and prompt follow‑up.
  • Decision‑analysis and problem‑solving skills.
  • Drawing conclusions and justifying decisions.
  • Communicating issues to management.
  • Understanding corporate policies and procedures and their relation to Yulista goals.
