QE Automation Engineer (Insurance Domain)

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with 10 years of experience to support quality engineering initiatives for insurance applications. The role requires manual, UI automation, strong API testing skills, and a self-learner attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, execute and maintain manual and automated test for web and API applications.
• Participate in all scrum activities, test planning, estimation, and release activities.
• Execute and enhance functional, regression, integration, and smoke tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies early in the SDLC.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and clearly document defects with actionable insights.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows.
• Contribute to documentation, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Willingness to upskill in:
• AI-assisted testing tools
• Data-driven quality metrics
• Intelligent automation concepts

Required Skills:

• Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals, test design techniques, and SDLC/STLC
• Experience testing web applications and APIs (REST, JSON, Postman, etc.)
