RESIDENTIAL LEASING CONSULTANT-PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Vine Brook Homes is an internally managed real estate investment company focused on acquiring, renovating, leasing, and operating single-family homes as rental properties. The company began operations in late 2007 and is a pioneer in the single‑family rental (SFR) asset class. The portfolio currently includes approximately 14,000 homes, with an expansion goal of 25,000+ homes across key secondary and tertiary markets.

The Residential Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing and marketing our single‑family rental homes (SFRH). The role requires maintaining a positive relationship with current and future residents while delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong customer service experience, self‑motivation, and excellent organization.

• Manage leads, follow up on inquiries, and market homes to minimize vacancy
• Schedule and conduct showings for prospective residents
• Pre‑qualify residents and secure applications
• Provide customer service to current residents
• Create lease agreements and file completed paperwork
• Work full time (minimum 40 hours per week)

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using computers and property management software

• Daily travel in the local market for showings during business hours; vehicle stipend available for eligible candidates

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One to three years of previous experience in customer service or hospitality
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain

• Associate's Degree or higher
• Experience using YARDI Software

• Valid driver's license
• Pass a motor vehicle, credit, and criminal background check
• Pass a drug screen
