This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Technician II – Proteomics / Metabolomics / Lipidomics based in Birmingham, AL. The Technician will perform sample preparation, operate and maintain advanced instrumentation, and execute proteomics, metabolomics, and lipidomics workflows. Responsibilities include method development, troubleshooting, ensuring data quality, reviewing results, and collaborating with researchers to meet their experimental goals. This role requires adherence to standard operating procedures, maintenance of accurate records, and a commitment to meeting project deadlines.
Qualifications- Experience with proteomics, metabolomics, or lipidomics workflows, including sample preparation and spectrometric analysis.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining LC‑MS/MS, GC‑MS, or related analytical instrumentation.
- Strong skills in data analysis, statistical evaluation, and troubleshooting experimental challenges.
- Attention to detail, precision, and consistency in executing lab procedures.
- Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and data visualization platforms is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field; relevant lab experience preferred.
