This position is based at Regions Field in Birmingham, Alabama. The Suite Attendant is responsible for serving guests in the Suites. The Suite Attendant must be personable and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $12.50 and is tip eligible. Benefits for part-time roles include a 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k).
This position will remain open until May 15, 2026.
Responsibilities- Assist with setup of food service areas within specific suites and club areas based on pre-order
- Ensure all assigned suites are set prior to event based on orders received
- Organize and prepare events in assigned locations
- Assist in closing out financials per event and ensure correct billing
- Monitor and maintain food quality
- Follow all company policies and procedures, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and maintain a positive atmosphere for team members and guests
- Monitor and enforce safe alcohol policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain inventory control and product requisition
- Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments
- Supervise the service of beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages; check IDs to verify minimum age for alcohol service
- Observe guests to respond to additional requests
- Ensure suites have all necessary serving ware
- Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
- Demonstrate excellent attendance per company standard
- Ensure location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event
- Recognize visibly intoxicated guests and take action to cut off alcohol where appropriate
- All other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, volunteers, management and guests
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by regulations
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Ability to perform basic math related to POS transactions, cash reconciliation and inventory
- At least 1-2 years experience in a food & beverage or customer service role
