The Store Manager serves as the primary leader of the store, responsible for overall performance and culture. This role leads the team by:
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing Team Members
- Creating a welcoming, safe, and service-driven environment
- Leading by example on the sales floor
- Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding Team Members
- Communicating expectations, needs, and areas of improvement with Store Support
- Driving team engagement and cultivating a positive store culture
- Overseeing daily store operations with excellence
The Store Manager should spend the majority of time on the sales floor (at least 80%) leading the team, connecting with guests, and ensuring the store environment reflects AO standards.
Position Daily Duties- Lead by example on the sales floor — engaging with guests and modeling AO service standards.
- Hire, train, and develop Team Members to deliver excellence.
- Oversee Assistant Managers and Team Leads to ensure tasks are completed properly and on time.
- Lead daily huddles and team engagement initiatives.
- Ensure sales floor coverage is optimal throughout the day.
- Support merchandising, recovery, and floor set execution to meet company standards.
- Provide coaching and feedback to Team Members regularly.
- Partner with Store Support to communicate needs, expectations, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct corrective action and terminate Team Members when necessary.
- Perform other leadership duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

- Proven leadership experience in retail or guest service management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, and developing staff
- Ability to lift or move up to 50-pound boxes or racks
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods of time
- Proficiency with Point of Sale systems;
Excel knowledge preferred

Schedule RequirementsTuesdays – Saturdays, 40 hours a week, one Saturday off per month.
