Bessemer - Detail Technician

Position: Bessemer - Detail Technician - Full-time

Long-Lewis of Bessemer is looking for a Detail Technician to clean and prepare both customer vehicles and dealership inventory. From basic washes to full interior and exterior detailing, you'll play a key role in ensuring every vehicle looks its best before it hits the road.
What You'll Do:

• Clean and detail customer vehicles based on purchased services
• Prepare new and pre-owned inventory for sale and delivery
• Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning, including:
• Vacuuming, shampooing, and wiping interiors
• Washing, drying, and polishing exteriors
• Removing contaminants, applying waxes/sealants
• Final quality checks before delivery
• Help maintain a clean and organized Detail Department
• Ensure customer satisfaction through attention to detail and a job well done

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED
• Some experience in detailing or car washing preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions
• Hardworking, team-oriented, and dependable
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills and customer-first mindset
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturdays

Compensation & Perks:

• $15/hour starting pay + performance-based bonuses
• Flat Rate Hour (FRH) opportunities for experienced detailers
