Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and departure
- Work between the hours of 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM or later
- Manage transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems
- Scan goods, verify pricing and quantities, and provide receipts
- Accept payments via cash, credit, or check, and provide correct change
- Bag and wrap purchased items for safe transport
- Handle returns, refunds, and resolve customer complaints effectively
- Upsell and cross-sell products when appropriate
- Issue coupons, vouchers, stamps, and gift cards as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with POS systems and cash registers is a plus
- Basic computer knowledge and strong math skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and resolve complaints efficiently
